nodiscard

Reads the Chrome/Chromium user data dir "Local State" and returns the profile display name for the given profile ID. Same JSON structure on all platforms.

Parameters

userDataDir	Path to the user data dir (contains "Local State").
profileId	Profile ID (e.g. "Default", "Profile 1"); empty means Default.

Returns

Display name for the profile, or empty if not found or file invalid.

getChromeProfilePicturePathFromUserDataDir()

QString getChromeProfilePicturePathFromUserDataDir ( const QString & userDataDir, const QString & profileId )

nodiscard

Reads the Chrome/Chromium user data dir "Local State" and returns the full path to the profile picture file (gaia_picture_file_name in profile info_cache).

Parameters

userDataDir	Path to the user data dir (contains "Local State").
profileId	Profile ID (e.g. "Default", "Profile 1"); empty means Default.
